I bumped into Mishi with my friend Sheyda at a club in London. We were all there that evening to see ESG. It was so much fun, I wish we had been able to meet up again before I left England but I hope we continue to bump into eachother not only digitally but in real life too. yay!
One time after shopping at a co-op that was miles and decades away from familiar, Peggy knew which bus stop we were supposed to wait at. It was very sunny. How she conjoured this knowledge from a star, I have no idea. She also has fun morning hair.
kim and i met once upon a time when krispy kreme was new to my universe and she led me from the mothership down the path of a sugary coma. i’ve never actually recovered from that stupor and wonder what actually transpired in the hours directly following. she sings songs that i like and will rock it all the way to russia and back like nobody’s bizzzznessss.
he brought home the most amazing candies. yogurt has a knack for sensing when foods are yummy and he gravitates towards them. i think he warned me against the seeweed wrap and the seeweed candy, but i didn’t listen. that was disaster!
Haruki Murakami is about the age of my parents, except he’s much much more articulate. It would have been great having him as an uncle who would come around and play all his favourite records for me and then make up little stories to go along with them. I want to know what he thinks of Ryu Murakami and how he feels to be compared to Banana a lot. Moreover I’d like to see some of the talks he’s given at universities and maybe sit around a cafe talking about the neighbourhood cats. something like that.
okay, but you must promise not to tell! ready? i heard that there are gnomes who live in his head and at night they come out to play. most often they do little dances and that’s what i want to see: the fancy dance.
kv has a very big heart. sometimes late at night the neighbours complain because it is beating too loudly and they would like to get just a little bit of sleep please! that is the reason last weekend was spent foam-padding some of her apartment walls. i am crossing my fingers for her. when she is not foam-padding things she is eating really yummy looking food (i can tell from looking at her photos). she also has very interesting ideas when it comes to putting together colours and i like that in a person! kv can show me as many drawings of ducks as would strike her fancy.
I think I would be good at meeting peglet. I bet i could learn her secret handshakes in no time
i do not know creevus very well, but he seems to like baked goods. this is always a good sign!
